Gardening Club 18th July                Second Trip of the Summer to Fritham Lodge, Nr Cadnam in the New Forest. Set in 18 acres with one acre walled garden round Grade 11 house originally one of Charles 11 hunting lodges (not open). Parterre of old roses, potager with wide range of vegetables, pergola, blue and white mixed borders, tulips and ponds. Walk across hay meadows to woodland and stream with ponies, donkeys, sheep and rare breed hens.

Gardening Club 16th August           Last trip of the Summer to Anderson Manor, Blandford Forum. This has 3 acres of mature topiary, old roses and herbaceous borders surrounding an Elizabethan manor house (not open).  Formal gardens, gazebos, bowling green, walled garden, parterre and orchard. Yew and box hedges, pleached lime walk and avenue of walnut trees. C12 church open next to house.

Gardening Club 19th September      Rosy Hardy, from the famous Hardy Nurseries will be coming to talk to us on “Hardy Perennials”.  Hardys Nurseries have won umpteen Gold medals in the Chelsea Flower Show and this should be an extra Special talk!

Gardening Club 17th October          Steve Austin from Romsey,  will be talking on “Winter  Jewels” and giving ideas to brighten up those dark days of Winter.

Gardening Club 21st November       Sue Carter, Head Gardener in Lacock Abbey will be coming to talk on “The History of Lacock Abbey and Its Gardens”.​​
